It's hard to improve on some things.  No matter how hard they try to make it "new and improved", sometimes they would have been better off leaving well enough alone.  Of course, you don't always know that until you try the updated version, only to be left longing for what you had in the first place.

One of my very first vibrators was a Jack Rabbit.  Yes, it was cheezy looking and not very well made, but it could deliver some serious orgasms!  It died a long time ago and was replaced by several other little toys that buzzed, pumped and spun.  In spite of the others, the old Jack Rabbit still lingered in my mind as one of my favorites, so some time ago we decided to replace it.  We got a high tech version: waterproof, cordless and a new, modern design.  I was eager to get home and put my little friend to work.

Sadly, I have to tell you that the new design has a flaw.  Take a look at the picture above, then compare it with this picture of the "original"Jack Rabbit.  See how all the little balls in the new one are lined up, while the old version just had the balls rotating freely?  Maybe it is just the way I am made, but I find the new version uncomforatble.  My old Jack would hit just the right spots with just the right pressure every time.  Not so with "robo-jack".  If you are interested in learning more about this very well-made unit, click here.

I haven't tried them yet, but I have found some other "New and Improved" Jack Rabbits that still have the old-free floating design.  Ladies, you might want to try one of them.  If you do, let me know how you like it.  I am always looking for new addtions to my toybox!

• Rechargeable Jack Rabbit - the old design without the need for batteries.  I think I would just set this permanently on my night stand!
• Impulse Jack Rabbit - Oooh... It spins, vibrates AND pumps in and out.  Gotta get one of these.
